PicturesFromHome.org is an organization commited to giving back to its community by providing free, quality family photos to military families whom will be separated due to a deployment.
We utilize the talents and time of local professional and amateur photographers. The setting is real life... Photos that represent your family as it is in everyday life - whether it's shoes off at the beach, your Sunday best, or full military dress - you decide, and we help make it happen.
- The idea for Pictures From Home started off simply enough - we enjoy taking pictures of family and friends. These photos hang on our walls for years, they're in picture frames on our desks, and we keep pictures in our wallets for a quick smile any time during the day (especially when we have to travel for work). We'd often joked that usually "someone" was left out of the pictures - after all, someone has to hold the camera!
As a veteran, Todd especially knows that "traveling for work" takes on an entirely new meaning during a deployment. And having those pictures - with everyone in the picture - means more than most people can imagine.
So we decided to make this happen for those military men, women, and families with loved ones about to deploy. Whether your idea from home is family, friends, or even you with your pets, you deserve the opportunity to carry those memories with you.
